| | Leadership Team | | Read on to meet the members of Gateway's Leadership Team! They work alongside Pastor Gary
to set the goals of the church, coordinate and approve the
work of ministry teams, interview and hire needed staff, and approve
the church budget. The Leadership Team is accountable to the membership
of the church.
| Rodney Crews My
wife, Bonnie, and I have lived in the Delaware Valley area since
1976. Prior to this we lived in Springfield, MO while attending
Baptist Bible College. We have three grown children, Justin, Joanna, Marcus, our wonderful son-in-law, Scott, and two grandchildren, Payton and Ava. Over
the years I have worked in various research and analytical laboratories
in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and medical device
industries. Currently I am employed as a pharmacy technician
in West Chester, PA. We have been at Gateway since November of 2006. The warmth of the people and the church's
dedication to the Gospel as well the loving acceptance by the
congregation are what drew us to Gateway Community Church. I
am gratified to be part of the Leadership Team and am looking forward
to the great things the Lord has in store for us all.

| | Claudia Jones | | I
have lived in the Philadelphia area since 1966 and in Media since 1969.
I have a wonderful husband, three grown children and 3 brilliant
:) grandchildren. For the past 30 years, I have worked at a lumber
company in Media. It is now called Tague Lumber and previously was
known as C.H. Marshall. Accounting and numbers are a big part of my
life. Gateway Community Church is also a big part of my
life and has been since the very beginning in 1996, when nine
other families and my husband and I embarked on the adventure of a
lifetime, sharing Jesus with those that haven't met Him yet. It is my
honor to be part of the Gateway Leadership Team and the Drama Director. I
have lived in many places - Atlanta, GA (birthplace), Chicago, IL,
Baltimore, MD and Yonkers, NY - but in 1969 I settled down to enjoy
what Media has to offer. Here I found my husband and a church that has
given me spiritual growth, friends, life purpose and a
relationship with Jesus.

I picked up the guitar within a year of watching The Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show
and have been playing it ever since. In college, I met my wife, Kriss,
through music and after school we continued to pursue music in various
bands throughout the country. In 1980 we
moved to the Delaware Valley area where we continued our pursuit of
music while I completed my degree in Electrica Engineering. After our
daughter and son were born, we bought a home in Aston where we lived for 21 years. We just recently moved to the Brookhaven area.
We
first visited Gateway Community Church in the fall of 2004 and enjoying
Pastor Gary's sermons and the friendly people decided to make it our
new church home. Since 2005 I have led the Praise team and in February
of 2011 joined the Leadership team at Gateway. My wife and I continue
to play and sing at coffee houses, private functions, etc. with other
musicians or as a duo.
I’m honored and thoroughly enjoy playing
music to the glory of God and I’m grateful to be serving God in Gateway
Community Church where our vision is to share the relevancy of Jesus
with our community. |
